DDM Dominator® Tuned pipe designed specifically for the HPI Baja 5T. It will also bolt just fine onto a 5B, though obviously the pipe would be very exposed and vulnerable, but some racers might want to try it. This is a very solid, sturdy pipe, and it produces tremendous power throughout the powerband. This pipe has been many months in development.
The tip of the silencer exits out the rear of the body, you can leave it as-is, or attach some additional silicone tubing to further silence the pipe, and route the exhaust to a different location.
The mounting system on this pipe is very strong, with the large bracket in front that supports the pipe, and another bracket in the rear.
This pipe will be available in both black and chrome, the black version will have the chrome brackets and silencer tip.

One way this pipe significantly differs from other Dominator® brand pipes is noise. With the addition of the silencer, this pipe really has a pleasant exhaust note, one that is deeper and will be less likely to annoy the neighbors.

Made here in the USA from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and CNC machined to precision measurements. The X-Can is mounted directly to your cylinder with our unique X-Port feature. The X-Port give the X-Can canister type muffler a “header” affect and in turn gives the X-Can better low end power than a standard muffler. Its heat sink design also reduces heat at the cylinder and reduced heat means more power. Comes complete with a 2 page color instructions, all new gaskets and all other needed hardware.

Finally an option to run longer stingers without the use of silicone tube. These new stingers come in 2 sizes. The 3” long stingers come out the X-Can and end just before the wing and would work great if you wanted to add silicone tube, elbows or anything else that you may want to use to route the exhaust thru and out the back. The 6” stingers come out just below the wing and will keep the car mostly clean. But in order to run the 6” stingers you will need to do 1 of 3 things because they do hit the purple aluminum bar that supports the wing structure. 1.You can cut the stingers just in front of the bar and just clean the bar as needed. 2.You can remove the bar and just use nuts inside the wing structure. 3. Or you can cut the wing support shorter, drill new holes and mount it just below the stingers and you will still have your support. Comes with 2 stingers.

TGN Small X-Port

The TGN “small” X-Port is specifically designed for tuned pipe use only. Its slim design allows for efficient heat transfer to eliminate warped header from extreme heat during racing and long rides. It will also lower cylinder and pipe temperatures all while extending the life of your gaskets. Includes all hardware to mount to any tune pipe.

Please make sure your car or trucks interior set-up and pipe brackets will allow the pipe to be moved back from the motor an additional ¼”. Will not work on ALL set-ups.

Add this medium size X-Port to your HPI stock exhaust canister or replace your smaller X-Port with this longer X-Port. The X-Port creates a "header" effect when adding it to your stock canister muffler or X-Can. Increased torque and low end power will be noticed. 100% billet aircraft aluminum with built in heat sinks to reduce cylinder temperature. Lower cylinder temperature means a longer lasting motor and more power.

Wanting to get the most torque and low end power from your X-Can? Add this large size X-Port to replace your smaller X-Port found stock on a X-Can. The X-Port creates a "header" effect when adding it to your X-Can.
